- Amazing food at an affordable price compared to the Strip
- $5 items available during Happy Hour
- Attentive and friendly staff made sure that our dining experience was pleasant
- If you want to watch the chefs prepare your food and interact with them, sit at the bar !
Located in the Southwest of Las Vegas, chef John Chien Lee opened a Japanese restaurant shortly after leaving Social House at the CityCenter on the Strip. Since its opening, SoHo has earned multiple awards so we were extremely excited to try it out! There’s a reason why SoHo has won multiple awards and impressive ratings: the food here is excellent!
At first glance
Reservations are highly recommended: the restaurant is on the smaller side and the seats are always full. The decor was simple and not extravagant especially if you compare to other Japanese restaurants on the Strip. If you do arrive without a reservation, you can expect to wait for a seat and they will allow you to order drinks while you do so.
The Escolar Carpaccio is amazing. It is quite rare to find this fish in restaurants so if you come here, you should definitely give it a shot. It has that smooth buttery taste to it.
The Yellowtail or Hamachi has the perfect buttery texture and a rich flavor.
SoHo Japanese is open Monday to Saturday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm.
